Subsurface Drainage & Water Management

Perforated Solid Wall HDPE Pipes

Engineered to control waterlogging and support efficient subsurface drainage, with customizable perforation patterns for project-specific water-management requirements.

Designed for controlled drainage

Union Pipes Industry manufactures solid-wall perforated pipes from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The openings allow controlled water intake and conveyance while the solid-wall construction supports demanding buried drainage applications.

01

Efficient water collection

Perforations collect excess subsurface water and help reduce waterlogging.

02

Project-specific patterns

Slot or hole dimensions and spacing can be customized to suit project requirements.

03

UV-stabilized HDPE

Carbon-black-stabilized HDPE provides a robust material solution for outdoor handling and buried service.

Material specifications

The catalogue identifies the following base material properties and reference standards.

Perforation patterns

Four standard arrangements provide different intake distributions around the pipe circumference.

Type A

2-slot pattern

45° slot position; pattern rotated 90° on alternating rows.

Type B

3-slot pattern

Three slots at 120°; pattern rotated 60° on alternating rows.

Type C

8-hole pattern

Eight evenly spaced openings at 45° intervals.

Type D

6-hole pattern

Six evenly spaced openings at 60° intervals.

Pattern Openings per row Nominal spacing Distribution
Type A 2 slots 45° positions Rotated arrangement
Type B 3 slots 120° apart Rotated arrangement
Type C 8 holes 45° apart Evenly spaced
Type D 6 holes 60° apart Evenly spaced
Custom configuration: Slot/hole dimensions and longitudinal spacing can be manufactured according to project requirements.
